Fad Thankful

There is a fad that seems to be popular here in Costa Rica just like in the states. The origin of most fads is unexplainable. In this case, I don’t care. All I know is it makes my life easier. Oh, the glory of the unmatched/mismatched sock!

No laundry for me today, though. On this Sunday I am going to church with my family to worship. Many friends and family have been sharing things from their lives for which they are thankful. I give thanks to God quite frequently, especially lately for His provision, protection, and power that have been prominently visible these past few months in a new country.

I’m also thankful for the fact that most days I don’t even have to wear socks. But on the days that I do, it now seems I don’t have to bother to find ones that match.
